Homecoming Parade Route
With the start time for our homecoming football game being pushed up to 7:00 pm and the traffic issues we encountered last year, we have chosen to modified our homecoming parade route. We worked with the NPD to design a route that will be much safer and least intrusive to evening traffic. The parade will line up at 5:00 pm at the Nitro Boat Ramp on Main Avenue. The parade will begin at 5:30 pm. We will pull out onto Main Ave. heading towards the school. We will turn onto Lock St. and then turn onto Broadway Avenue. We will come up Broadway Ave. and turn onto West 11th Street. We will then turn onto Park Avenue and go by the school and football field. The Homecoming court will drive down into the field at the Visitor’s gate and onto the track. The remainder of the parade will filter onto the parking lot at the Library. The parade route is below. We will send out the parade line-up by Thursday, September 29th.
