Lockers

We will again allow students to pick their own locker partner for the 2016-17 school year.  Only one form, containing both of the students information, needs to be submitted per pair.  Combinations will be emailed to the addresses submitted.

We will be taking school pictures first thing in the morning on August 8th.

New Bell Schedule

Parking Passes

NHS Parking Passes will be sold on July 29th and August 2nd from 10am - 1pm.  Students interested in purchasing a parking pass will need to complete this form http://bit.ly/NHSParking1617 prior to purchase.
Passes will cost $40 cash or money order.  Sorry no checks or credit cards.
Students have asked how we use the parking pass proceeds.  This past year we used the funds to purchase new restroom trash receptacles, soap dispensers and hallway security gates.

Freshman Orientation and Parent Meeting

Nitro High School's freshman orientation will be on Sunday, July 31st from 2 to 4 pm.  Ice Cream will be served after the orientation.
Also on Sunday July 31st at 2pm we will be having a parent meeting in the commons.  This meeting is open to all parents.  We will be discussing changes to our bell schedule, anchor blocks and student sign out policy.  We will also be answering questions from parents.
We look forward to seeing you on July 31st.
