Honor Society

 NHS Honor Society is accepting applications for new members. A list of eligible candidates has been posted on the office window. Please see Mr. Shamblin for an application. All applications must be returned by 3:00pm, Friday February 2nd.

Rho Kappa

Both current and new members of Rho Kappa need to meet in Mrs Simpson's room today during NHS Block. Members that checked in yesterday do not need to attend.

 Any student interested in Math Field Day should see Mr. Asbury By the end of the day Friday December 15.

Rho Kappa

Ski Club

If you are interested in participating in Ski Club, you need to pick up the required forms from Ms. Sarah Chandler in Baker Room 104. A deposit is due this Friday to secure a seat on the bus.

Poetry Out Loud

Any student interested in participating in the school-wide poetry out loud, needs to see Mrs. Gordon in NHS block on Wednesday 11/15 for important information.

Ski Club

 For students interested in participating in Ski Club, Ms. Sarah Chandler will be having a meeting during NHS Block on Wednesday, November 8th in Baker room 104. Ski Club is open to experienced and beginner skiers and snowboarders! The club will take five ski trips to Winterplace beginning in January. Other details, along with prices, will be discussed during the meeting on Wednesday.

Good Luck Cheerleaders

Nitro High School is excited to cheer on and support the boys' soccer team, as well as, Nitro High School Cheerleaders will be competing in their first competition this Saturday. Regionals will be held at Cabell Midland, and doors open to the public at 9:00 am. Good Luck Ladies!
