Jaime's Law Suicide Prevention

On Tuesday, September 1st,  during your child's English class they will be presented with information on suicide prevention. A new state requirement, Jamie's Law, states that all secondary students must be presented with information, and provided with an opportunity to have a discussion.
Students and parents have access to a brochure in several ways:

Academy Day 2015

Academy Day 2015 will be held for any and all students, parents and school officials interested in learning more about U.S. service academies (Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Military/West Point, Naval). We will also have representatives from local ROTC programs on hand to discuss ROTC scholarship opportunities.

Attached you will find information regarding a fundraiser for a 6 year old girl for Nitro.  The NHS AFROTC will be helping out with the fundraiser.

Pep Club Meeting this Wednesday

Pep Club members that are able to stay after school Wednesday, need to meet in Ms. Chandler's room 212.  We will be making posters for the game on Friday.

First Home Boys Soccer Game @ 5:30 tonight

Please come out and support the boys as they take on Sissonville tonight at 5:30.  Our Girls Soccer team plays at Sissonvile tonight in their first contest.

Pre Sale Football Tickets

We will be selling adult and student tickets for the football game during both lunches in the commons on Thursday and Friday.  Student tickets will be $5 at the school and $6 at the gate.  Buy your tickets early to avoid the line and to save a dollar.

College history will start on Tuesday, Aug, 18th, 2015.  The class will be meeting in room 105 on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 2:00 to 2:50.

The football team travels to Lincoln Co. High School for there first scrimmage this Saturday. The scrimmage starts at 10:00 AM

Cross Country

There will be a short meeting today after school in the commons for signups. Thursday will be the first day of practice. Students will need a physical, proof of insurance.

Engrade is now working for 9th grade students. Parents and students should be able to use the same login and password.

Class Pictures 📷 Tuesday, August 18

All grades will be taking individual class pictures for purchase and the yearbook on Tuesday, August 18 during Social Studies class.  Picture form packets from Lifetouch will be coming home this Wednesday.  Payment is due on Tuesday, August 18.  All students will have their picture taken even if a package is not purchased.
