Hack-a-thon

Exciting Opportunity for Juniors and Seniors! University of Charleston is hosting a Hack-a-thon in their brand new, state of the art Russell & Martha Wehrle Innovation Center Saturday, January 28th-Sunday the 29th. UC is inviting high school juniors & seniors to visit the campus for an overnight, intense and exciting experience where they will "hack" through some problems and come up with solutions for those problems and explore the business opportunities related to the solutions. They will be guided by experts & mentors & other students and, at the end of the event, they will "pitch" their solutions. On the table are innovation scholarships valued at 20 thousand per year if the student would decide to come to the University of Charleston. This award can be made in their junior year. They will also have prizes for excellence in the process. This is a FREE opportunity you should definitely take advantage of. You do not need to be interested in business to attend.
